silly question?

Maybe a silly question but I have to ask......
Would an Eleanor style bonnet that fits a 67 or 68 fit on a 65? obviously wouldn't matter if its a coupe or fastback.

short answer is no. the 67 and 68's have a longer bonnet. But their are companies that do make an eleanor bonnet to the size of a 65 and if your handy with metal then its not too hard either

Huh? but an eleanor bonnet in longer anyway. It wasn't designed to fit on a standard setup.
My question is because I have a Eleanor bonnet which I have for sale on ebay. Someone is bulding an eleanor or somethin on a 65 and was wondering if my eleanor bonnet will fit on their 65stang. Obviously they'll also need a whole new front light kit surrounds etc to match the bonnet.
So the questions begs: Do they actually make specific eleanor bonnets to suit certain models and not others? or is it one style of Eleanor bonnet that will fit all earlier model stangs?
