Attaching Rotisserie to 69 Conv.
« on: August 31, 2006, 03:30:30 pm »
I've made some rotisserie stands and am in the process of building the attaching brackets to the car.

Its a 69 Conv. and at first attempt I made the brackets to attach to the bumper mounting points.

Before I put the wieght of the car on them I gave it a bit of a test and the body/bumper area seems to flex too much for me to be comfortable with spinning it from there.

Has anyone had experience with attachment points for rotisseries and if so where did you attach to for front and back?

The front frame rails look like a good option at the front and it looks like it'll be a safer option with the spring attachment points at the rear. Any Suggestions? Regards, Andrew.

Andrew,
I have done a 1970.  Piece of cake.
If you patch me an email direct to....

webmaster@jasonpigdon.com

I will send you a couple of decent pics direct.   If you do not have broadband, let me know, and i'll squash the pic sizes down for you.

Cheers
Jas
