I need a garage that big.

You should reskin it flat against the frame and keep the big flared wheelarches. :+

Donations gratefully accepted,  only if they're full cans and only if they are filled with beer.  Actually just send me a carton of Boags premium stubbies instead.............

Nassi, I've got a guy doing it for me and I learned a long time ago - don't put a time frame on it if you want to retain your sanity!

Re the wheel arches - mmm, let me think.  Maybe not.

Cheers, Mike

No worries mate but I can't take the credit for anything but the monkey work.  I have a guy doing the fab work and are pretty happy with the progress (and quality) so far.

Next on the list is to re-do the RHD conversion that I originally paid a guy from Melbourne to do................

Nassi, you're so right - I was thinking we had gone too far.  At least the unibody is straight and square, which saved us some bucks.  Unfortunately there were a multitude of sins revealed after the media blasting.  We thought the floors were ok - wrong!

Cheers, Mike

Hi Warmride

I see you have solved the Air Con problem.  Looking good and can't wait to see what the final results will look like

Hey Herman,

The 'air cond' problems have been fixed as have the Freddy Flinstone floors.

Following is a pic showing the new roof and quarters finally welded into place and one of the new floors with the transmission tunnel lifted 25mm and widened to accomodate the TKO-600.  It's also shifted back 25mm (I'm using RM adjustable engine mounts). You can also see the new Dynacorn convertible type seat support made for the fastback.  It's a really strong piece and adds additional bracing.

Cheers, Mike

Thanks Nassi,

Long way to go yet but we'll get there.  Already, I'm thinking about the next project.  I'm going to build a full chassis fastback.  I can build it as an ICV as long as it complies with ADRs.  Much homework to do..............

Cheers, Mike

PS: How's your 67 coupe project coming along?

Just for something different I guess....................Not before I get this project on the road though, maybe later next year.  Gotta have something to spend my hard earned on!
