The Winter Classic is a sealed surface only event consists of up to 20 driving tests over 3 days and a non closed road Rally or leisurely Tour depending on the crew’s preference or skill level. Suitable for most vehicles this event has seen competitors drive all forms of vehicles such as Birkins Stock standard Corollas; Porches Mustangs even an A9X Torana.
Driving test video footage 2008The event was developed in 1997, in response to the popularity of the classic touring style rally for car enthusiasts. Organized by the Ballarat Light Car Club, the event has grown to become a regular event on many competitors calendar. The event is set around the roads of the Central Highlands of Victoria and includes some of the state's most picturesque driving roads and scenery. The event runs in late August with most meals supplied.
