Just wondering if someone can recommend the best people that do remote car inspections (going to the car). Need to get one done for a 66 hardback I want to buy, trying to get NRMA on the case but they have been useless, I don't think they do them anymore.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It's been a while since the NRMA did inspections so don't waste time talking to them. (Other than for a breakdown service what use is the NRMA these days?)

You could try the MTA which have a mobile service in NSW. See the link below. Phone them first to check that you will be happy with their system and check out the online info. They use different contractors depending on where the vehicle is located. When I last spoke with them this year they were very helpful (and answered all questions) but I have not had cause to use them yet.

Personally I would prefer to use a mustang specialist if feasible. If you can find one not far from the vehicle location you can always ask them if they would have a mechanic drive over and run a check for you. They can only say no.
