Hey guys another 67 is on its way home here to Australia.  By the way nice project rickchampion.  I wish you all the best with it.  Keep us all posted on the resto. I couldn't wait to restore another so I purchased  an older resto 67 GTA S code which I can drive here straight away. She is an original S code matching nos car in pretty good nic.  Matt helped with the purchase and has been great saving me more than a few pennies ( I owe you a few beers at the least Matt!) :2 Anyway here a few pics of the old girl.

Sorry I meant that the car had been restored about 8 years ago.  Thanks for the compliments guys.  I'm sure there are going to be little things to do on the car,  none are perfect. Matt is the man cheers Rick.

Very nice. Plenty of beautiful 67's coming to light of recent times.
Maybe some inspiration for V/Park!

Come on Igalop there was only one car coming into light it’s the 66 mustang, 67 great year but not a classic one for stangs.  Suggest you trade in the galop  for a 66 pony  lol, with every 66 sold you get a free George foremen series BBQ,

Kiwi

Your Princess is being picked up first thing in the morning destined for LA.

I must admit.... This is an amazing car mate. The thing is a total minter. You did very well and hats off to Jim. He treated the car on the trip down from Virginia like an open bottle of milk on the way home.

We are going to be closed from the 14th April untill the 30th April but I will ring you (and others) when we hit Oz and give you our contact details just incase. Your car is being shipped with Hybrids 66 and mac1's corvette.

Congratulations mate

Matt

Car is finally here.  It is on its way to Gasoline Alley in Brisbane for L02 before coming up here to Innisfail.  Customs have been real pr#ckles:* and it has been an ordeal.  My car left LA on 6th June and arrived Melb 27th June.  I was told by my customs agent (never to use again) that my car could be picked up around the 3rd July.

The agent did not tell me that Customs wanted every piece of paperwork from transport costs in US to Matt (Shermatt)     last f#@kin lunch wrapper!!

When trying to contact agent he has gone on leave, other persons fail to ring you back, give no follow up and no updates on what is happening.

My car has only today been released from Melb storage two weeks after it was supposed to be.

Oh yeah if wondering,  Mainfreight Brisbane.

Shane

Must admit...that was definately an ordeal. Every morning I had an email from them. What I couldnt beleive was customs wanted all the payment slips because you accidently OVER declared the car. If they wouldnt of asked, they would of got more money out of ya.

As for the a/c degas....The department of heritage HAS NOTHING in writing or on a wedsite stating what is required to the fine print...of what they were asking for. I still went and did it though. Had it back to him within 6 hours and then I had another email from them

Think that was the one were they wanted to know Sheri's bra size and if I could possibly scan my lunch wrapper and email it to them.

Gald that its all takin care of mate and shes on her way up there

All the best to the Fam from Sheri and myself

Hey Shane,
What's the latest on the 67 mate? Is it finally in Innisfail? You haven't posted any updates to your thread on here for a few weeks now.

Nice looking Stang :(

Hey flameman,  I received my car on Monday.  I was just telling Ash (Vicpark) that I took it for  a spin down the highway after getting it off the truck.  It was an awesome feeling couldn't wipe the smile of my face:+.  First official outing this Sun with the All Ford Club to the NQ warbirds day at Mareeba.  Will have to catch up with you - you going?

Thanks Frank.  Unfortunately the house is not mine.  This is the USA owners house.  He is a property developer that fell on hard times and had to get rid of his stang.  Thats were I helped him out:w:w

Sorry Shane, I can't make it to Mareeba on Sunday as I am rebuilding the front suspension this weekend. Let me know when you are in Cairns next so I can check the 67 out up close.

Hey  Flameman and everybody.  The missus (officially in one week time, God help me  :w ) and I went for our first cruise today with the All Ford Club of Cairns up to Mareeba through the Kuranda range on a sweet Nth Qld sunny morning.  It was the best feeling cruising in convoy with a heap of muscle.  The sound of dozens of V8's grunting up the range was the sh*t!!

Andrea couldn't get over the amount of people that just stare at the cars with drool flowing from their mouths (maybe a little exagerated) It was ;_Can't wait for the next cruise;2

P.S. I was talking to a bloke the other day and happened to mention that I was getting married and I cracked up when he said in a real dry voice "Dead man walking, dead man walking!!":+:+  You have to give these things a go eh!  Sh*t shes coming.....................:+:+
