I would like to thank you all for your input. Yes you are right I am still confused.

To answer some of your questions:

1. 4.6l with 5 speed tremec - $8,800
2. 4.6l with supercharger & 6 speed tremec - $16,000
3. Rebuilt 428 with 4 speed toploader - $ 12,000
4. New 302 with supercharger & 5 speed tremec - $18,000

5. I am open to suggestions what sort of cost is the 220kw AU XR8 motor and Trans?



If I went for the 428 bb would a new 5 or 6 speed manual tremec handle it. I was also thinking of adding a supercharger.

I will keep you all posted as to what I decide on.

Im Paull, Recently I sourced some pricing from some dedicted ford wreckers in sydey and a 220 kw AU donk with auto and computer was aprox 7k and man was 8k. But it fits right in! and you can tune and service it too! Just be aware of the maintenence issues!:(
