can anyone recommend a good reliable mustang mechanic i the central Brisbane area....just need a basic tune up, oil change etc etc.

U can try John at Gasoline Alley In Brendale.  They are mustang  restorers but also do all mechanical overhauls etc on vintage mustangs.  They may accomodate you.

Give Mal at Sandgate Automatics a call - 32694134. He has worked on mine (66 coupe) and they won't charge the earth.
