G'day just joined the site and am restoring my first Mustang. It's a 65 GT Coupe. Can anybody tell me: Were front guards originally sprayed with body deadener on the inside and if so, what colour was it? My car was assembled in the San Jose plant, I have been told that the underside was painted in Red-oxide but where did the Red-oxide finish and the black of the firewall start?
