I think that both the Swap Meet and Gembrook might be in doubt ... if simply just to ease traffic congestion in the area.
And I am honestly surprised that Hanging Rock went ahead ............ not only was it a Total Fire Ban Day but with fires at Broadford/Bendigo. Plus parking hot cars on grassed areas .. ..
I'm wonder what the emergency evacuation plan would be for a place like Hanging Rock? Cut fences? But then, when on the road, there are only so many ways to exit the place ... and so many thousand cars!!!
I have not heard any reports of car numbers at the Rock and whether numbers were down?
