IIRC, Mickey Thompson Street Radials are not legal in Australia, as they are not speed rated. I get a lot of tyres from the US, and have the same problem, all their good stuff is not speed rated, and the DOT approved means nothing here.

YMMV

Yeh its run by the club. Nez Demaj normally organizes it.

Last year cars were running mikey thompsons.

Hopefully we can run them we had severe traction problems with semi slicks last year.

So who is going to take their cars out?

The fastest et was a red 66 coupe with white stripes and a big roots style blower hanging well out the bonnet.
I think it run about an 11.8 or 11.5

Im 99% sure we were faster in the mph at 121mp/h

Wow, 120mph?

What did the blown car run? Would have been about 115mph, wouldn't it?

I wonder if Nick witht he maganta 66 coupe will be there?? He runs well into the 10's with a small twist of the bottle.

Theres maby 125 in it but wheel spin was ridicules.
We ran a horrible et of 12.7

But the car is a manual with tilton tripple plate clutch.
