Hi everyone, I am looking at getting my 351w recond or rebuilt, has anyone got any recommendations of a good mechanic to do this, money is not a big issue, thanks.

Mjb,

If you dont have a matching numbers car, or dont care, then how about this :

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260336976631

A little expensive, but a nice motor. My only concern with it is that forsome unknown reason they are not offering a warrantly on that motor. Having a Ford Racing motor I think would add quite a bit of value to your car. You could then recoup some $ by selling your old 351w.

Would like it for my 70, but a little too expensive for me.

Cheers,
Frank.
