My 69 Big Block

Hi All,
Here’s mine.  A 1969 Mach 1 Q code 428 cj which arrived at my doorstep in May of this year.  According to the Marti Report, the factory options on this particular car were power steering, A/C, AM/FM Radio and C6 tranny.  She’s also fitted with a Shelby roller bar and rim blow steering wheel. She’s gone from San Jose to San Francisco to Texas to New Hampshire to Canberra.
The engine was rebuilt by Ted Eaton, Texas with TRW forged pistons, Edelbrock heads and a mild cam.  Everything works beautifully, she’s rust free and I drive her every weekend (weather permitting).   After driving on the original rims + polyglas tyres I switched to Magnum 500s + decent rubber.
I hope to have her at the Valentine’s Day Car Show at Parliament House lawns.
Kasia

Many thanks to Daz (MustangNut) for the blood, sweat and tears he has poured into the beast!

I let my hubby drive her sometimes, he'll have to make do with that because we certainly can't afford another... : )

Sorry Ashley, this is a different Bren.

Here are some extra photos: undercarriage and engine bay. More recent photos will go up in the future.

Sorry Mac 1, we won't be at Ballarat. We would go deaf and be high on petrol fumes by the time we got there if we did! We haven't undertaken a long trip in the car yet.
