On the 1st of February 2008 We are holding the 2nd annual America west Dyno comp and show n shine .

There are trophies for the Dyno comp as well as the show and shine so come squeeky clean n you might get something shiney !!!!!

Cost is $35 to enter the dyno comp and show n shine is free
There will also be a sausage sizzle and drinks on sale

The event will be held at A & K auto service center Unit 4/3 Mcdonald Street West Osborne Park starting at 9am

What time will the dyno comp start and will it be limited to a certain number of cars?

It starts at 9 am and there is no cut off we'll go hard all day so all are welcome to come down and have some fun :p

Sounds like fun - I am keen to see Brian’s Shelby on the dyno!!

Also Mr President has their been any ratification to the Annual Awards for MOCWA to include any reference to the fastest or highest HP member cars for 2009???

I have heard the rhetoric around awards need to be in alignment with the national body - blah blah blah.
But maybe, as we have here on the WEB take a lead role in developing a new category of national award !!

Just a thought for all the power junkies who expend enormous amounts of time, energy and $$$$ - with little recognition from the club.

I am willing to raise the sponsorship $$$$ for the award if necessary.

Ahhhhh don't worry about that !!! If theres any tough Mustangs in perth worth winning any such award they will be at the dyno comp !!!!!

:_ Sorry Whiplash, won't make it again this year, timing is all wrong. Car is back together & running but has not had any real bedding in time but the biggest problem I have is due to surgery I can't even drive it which is driving me nucking futs. To all attending Have a good day.

Good question as to whats pear shaped in my donk!!! ;x
The ufo's in the rocker cover were nothing to do with it! (apparently)
Faulty oil pump main problem..
oh & needed new inlet valve guides!
ah yeh and New bearings....
doing a few other bits and pieces while its all in bits!
...so hopefully that'll fix it!

I joined about 6 months ago and found the guys to be great. Ive even been on a cruise in my ute!! but no show and shines, in fact no one has even seen my car exept in a photo. Its getting close though. Mate if thats your green meanie in the pic you better come along. I'm sure no one will complain that your not a member and if they do tell them;3. Probably a good time to join!

The sponsors of the event will appreciate a good turn out, hell I even invited a couple of Mopar boys.
