I have been waiting to get a Mustang since I was a kid. The day has finally arrived.

Nothing fancy. She is a "C" code running a stock 2v 289 through a c4 trans. The only option is the power steering with standard interior.

What I love about this car is that it`s Raven black with a standard appearance. whilst the paint isnt perfect it will do for now.

after she passes through Regency I have a few upgrades planned ie 4v manifold with Holley 570 discs and lower approx 1 1/2 inches.

I have to say it was the most nerve racking purchase I have ever made. Not just because I hadn`t seen the car in the flesh but you know when you are a kid you have great memories of people , places and things that can often be greatly exaggerated by time ? Only to be shatted more often than not should you actually cross paths with these memories in later life ?????

Well.......STUFF THAT !!!!! I was in love as soon as the truck showed up at my place.....As soon as I laid eyes on it.........THEN when I heard it and drove it ?????There are some things you can`t express in words,,,,,,or shouldn`t.

The expierience has only improved once I got her back from Rob and his boys at St Marys Auto. The sound of a lazy 289 through a twin system is magic.

I realise its pathic to become so attached or emotional by an object. But really , How often to you get to live and exprience one of your childhood dreams ? Esp one that has only improved !!!

I give another example. When I was 9 - 10 I thought Kim Wylde was damn hot !!!! Another childhood dream.....Did you see her on the footy show a couple of months ago ??? Dream shattered !!!!!!!! (Sorry Kym)
