If you have never swapped a dizy on a v8 before, my advice would be get a mechanic to do it for you & watch & learn how its done.
You need to find top dead centre compression stroke on # 1 cylinder, remove old dizy, re fit replacement dizy & hopefully the oil pump drive is lined up, align #1 on cap & rotor while checking the position of the pickup / trigger coil as you tighten the base clamp, source correct electronic coil, check supply & cranking voltage to the + of the coil, etc..............
