Its ready, but we are going jetskiing and camping over the weekend up your way, so won't be there.  It will there with bells on it for the classic cars night at the drive in next weekend though.  I don't care about the movies just lots of nice food and drink and people of course. ;2

I should have read this post first.  Have you tried the shroud or clutch fan yet.  That may help.

See you at the Drive-in,Paul.Still problems after the All Ford day?
For once I'll agree with Darryl, the shroud makes all the difference. The clutch fan really kicks in when I stop too,so now the temp goes down slightly when I'm in traffic.I'm not saying any more in case I tempt fate.

If the car overheats while sitting still you have a air flow problem generally.  If its moving when it overheats check your timing, fuel settings.  Didn't you have the motor out when painting the engine bay,

well guys I did 4 runs
all around 16.8/ 84mph  which was a bit disapointing
car didn't run to well at full bore, either not enough fuel getting through or maybe a breathing problem just seemed to struggle a bit,
a little embaresing when a couple of friends I went with in gt falcons ran high 13 s,
still had a ball though,
just need to get the engine out asap,

now thinking to stroke it out to 418cu, just haven't told Tracey yet
ssssshhhhhhh !!!!!!!

think we've got sidetracked from the ironbark run !!!!

Gives a good starting point, Lee.
Can only get faster. What diff ratio do you have? That could be a factor.Mine has a 2.79(supposedly) which would make it fairly slow over the quarter too.
I was going to bring my twin-turbo BMW which is supposed to do high 13's as well.Oh well, next time.
Bob
Oh,and see you at Ironbark Ridge.

bugger me Bob how many toys have you got,
my diff gears are 2.75, looking to change to 3.5 for a quicker response,
oh well my list just gets longer and longer
