Could anyone give me any ideas on rear harness type belts for a coupe as i dont want my kids in car with lap belts.

Basically, you need to fabricate some mounts into the parcel shelf.
Being a coupe, it is MUCH easier.
There are some discussions on this at www.justmustangs.com.au in their forum, or alternatively you can seek the advice of an engineer to ensure its done right.

Glenn66 I ahve some pics of the mount points used in my old 66 coupe if you are interested. The two outer rear were lap/sash and the centre rear was just lap.
