FUND RAISING FOR THE NATIONALS

;w

What ever happend to all the photos that Brian Elloy took at Hillarys of all the muzzys on the jetty? It would make a good calendar which we could sell to raise money;2.

Anyone good at trivial pursuit:_? What about a quiz night.

If anyone has any ideas to raise funds put them on the forum.:o
We can then gauge what is popular so we can organise the event.:(

Hi Dave, great idea. I was kicking this around awhile back, as we have far more cars than months I thought of having any interested member supply a photo (in a selected format)of their car. This could include those part way through resto or just sitting in a shed covered in dust and a $5 judging fee. Then a panel or selected corrupt individual would choose the 12 lucky cars for the calender. All the $5 nomination/judging fees are retained as the fundraiser and further profits would be realised from the sale of the calenders. The calender is something we all use and generally buy at least one a year so I'm all for it.

A couple of years ago the Charger club did a calender of members cars and from memory it was about $35 each but I think that was a small volume job.
cheers.

How about running a Sausage Sizzles at car events run by other clubs?
Big Al's, Ace Ford club cruise, For the Jag club, Power Cruise weekend, Nostaglia Drags etc.

We have the BBQ and the shelters. Just need to buy the Food and get the cooks and money handlers.
I'm happy to cook just say where and when.
If this takes off, has anyone got a contact with a friendly butcher or baker?
We can always do 'Part proceeds to Charity' and help a good cause along the way.
Rob
