Positive experience with US eBay parts seller
« on: August 26, 2008, 07:21:18 am »
Just bought some new repro rear window quarter mouldings from an eBay seller in the US. Had a very positive experience. The item was shipped super fast and he even refunded the difference in postage between what was originally quoted in the auction and the actual postage cost.

Only downside is that he doesn't have a large variety of parts for sale.

His eBay ID is 1964ponycar.

Cheers,
Frank.

Thanx for that, Frank.
Great to hear that you had a good experience! I also  have had a pos experience in dealing with the US - I dealt with
http://stores.ebay.com.au/FastbackStack-Classic-Mustang-Parts

And they did the same, ie , stupidly fast shipping, and they refunded the difference on postage to Aus. These guys only deal with the real stuff - I was able to obtain a used  really early (pre May '65) timing cover, unavailable locally here in Aus. They also wouldn't sell me some fog light bars they said they had, as they thought they were original, but ended up being repops....saved me grief at their expense!!!
I'd definaltely deal with them again if I couldn't source the parts here in Aus locally...
