well after 4years the stang is done,passed the regency park inspection today and am on full rego,now for some fun!:+:+:+:+:a:a:a:a pm me if you want the good bad and ugly about the inspection:(

Congratulatioms 2+266.  Now you will know what it is like to spend 4 years and $$$$$$$$$$ building your dream car and then have  Adelaide drivers sit 2 feet off your newly chromed back bumper.

thanks nassi , showpony i was peaking last night after the inspection on the way home when i was ridden like a donkey all the way back to my place!,if anyone has gone through regency in the past  couple of years please pm me as there is an issue with an inspector that i would like to clear up.thanks

thanks ev,will post some pics soon,went for a drive last night and the headlights started cutting in and out and the dash lights went out only after 5 minutes of driving:_ guess i'm up for a new switch!!!! fuses and grounds are fine.more dollars,bugger!!!!

Well done 2+266,

I had a similar problem when I first had my car with blinking headlights, turns out that halogens were installed without relays.  I had them installed and the transformation in lighting was fantastic, and the blinking stoprd too.  You need a decent electricion to make sure all the wiring is right, including the dip switch.

There's a great 'how to' article in mustang monthly on line that gives you a good heads up.

:( thanks bee,i installed 100 watt standard headlights so i dont have the halogen problem,started her up last night with headlights ablaze and tested it for 35 minutes and they didnt cut out once!!!!! (the car is posessed!!) i'll have to stick my hand in my pocket once again i think!!

had my first real drive today,what a treat,not entirely happy with the gearbox ,anyone recommend a repairer?whiny in third and when i drop back to 2nd loud spinning noise comes from the box,like the bottoms going to fall out of it! any suggestions?
