Finally - I found great 7in DRL lights for a good price, great light pattern!

Hi, if you got nothing, you probably have them wired back to front. Nearly all leds are polarity specific, so the positive and negative have to be the right way around.

I just wired off the indicator wire on each side for power, the headlight/halo uses a common earth.

I run an electronic flash relay as I have leds on the rear as well. This has speed adjustment on it and also is not load dependant like old school flash units? You know you need one if your indicators flash too fast. You can buy them at autoparts stores but I just buy half a dozen at a time on eBay.

Cheers Ed

Appreciate the info, Edz. I'm considering Stedi lights for my '65 coupe. Did you need to modify the light buckets for installation, or were high-quality weed seeds amazon they essentially a 'plug and play' fit?

Edz:
No mods needed to buckets, just had to pick up power for drl and indicator. I'd say the stedi would be the same.
