Hi all, I am trying to install my neutral safety switch as per the instructions I have seen online-place drill bit in the small hole, rotate the mechanism until the drill bit slides in all the way. No problems. My issue is when the vehicle is in park the spline in the neutral switch grooves are horizontal whilst the shifter lever are vertical.
If I rotate the neutral switch to suit the shifter then I dont get any connection to the starter motor in any gear.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Is the C4 neutral switch the same as a C6.
