68 rear windscreen moulds
« on: May 13, 2008, 08:12:13 pm »
Does anyone have a decent used set of rear screen moulds (preferably I only need the top, bottom and the two top corner moulds) that they want to sell?

Ok the next one is, I am putting in a new rear screen rubber, can I just put the moulds on at any old time? Or do I need to do something whilst the glass is going back in?

Hi,
Your chrome mouldings go on last and can be done at a later date.  Just a few tips as I have not long ago put both screens in my car.  Take the time to straighten out your moulds and before you put your clips on re tension them.  Try to use your original clips if they are OK as I have been told that the new repo ones are not the best quality and dont hold as well as the original.  I was quoted $400 for both of mine and due to $$$ I fitted them with the old man and I am very happy with the job.  Its not that hard with a few tips.
Any troubles give me a call.
