Shannons auction car
« on: February 16, 2022, 10:56:04 am »
Hi all,

New member and first post so please go easy!! There is an Ivy Green '66 Fastback listed for auction at Shannons which I am contemplating bidding on. I was wondering if anyone is aware of the history of this car and can provide any insights before I pursue it. Thanks in advance.

Regards, George

Hey George,
That’s one beautiful car, 66 fastback, very desirable!
I’m thinking the higher end of the value scale, if not well over!
That’s just my opinion!
Hope I’m wrong for your sake, but I love it!
Cheers Phil.

don't know the car but agree with AussiePhil, suspect it will punch well through their guiding range

I just sold a 65FB (75k), was a track car so quite different to this - this will have a much wider audience, also RHD will have its fans.

Good luck

Hey Greg,
I’m glad for you that you sold your Fastback.
But I was waiting to win lotto so I could buy it, I’m doing something wrong!
There’s nothing like a 65, 66 fastback, especially a race car!
There’s just something I like them over a 67, 68.
Cheers Phil.
