I'm interested in finding out if I can get a fibreglass detachable roof to fit my  1967 convertible

Back in the day, such an item did exist - known as a Towne Top.  I have actually had one in my hands. A former member of this forum (passed away) owned one.

Do you mean these things?

They've been discussed here before, you can get them on ebay, some are suspicious of how it seals in air/water, possible tarnish to the paint where it touches the body and issues with raising the bootlid and an option where you can keep the original side windows.

Be sure to research it as much as you can, feedback from those who have them would be good.
