Where abouts in Brisbane.  I know some good panel shops on the southside and some good mechanics on the northside.

I live in Hamilton so either would be OK. I,am looking for someone to know the car mechanically long term. Paint just needs some minor work.

So long as he does not retire too soon, Bob Halvorson at Redcliffe gets my vote 32831350.

He's been into mustangs for years, owns a superb 67 fastback, and is building up another in his limited spare time. - his senior mechanic Dave is a good bloke too.

Redcliffe smash repair did a fantastic colour match on my hood when my handbrake broke and I had a slight bump into a fence a few years ago.

I was going to recommend Bob as well, he advertises in the club magazine as well.  I would also recommend Marty White, at John White Race Engines as well for performance enhancements of your motor.

Do you have a number for John White?

Hello Brent

As far as mechanics go I can recommend Bob Taylor (0419 678 139 or 3208 5374).  He is based out near where IKEA is.

He is a Ford nut and owns a genuine XY GT and I think is an office bearer of the GT club.  He was recommended to me through this forum and the results were very good.  The only thing is that as a decent mechanic he is very busy.

Good luck

Andrew

Paint and Panel, Talk to Dave Johnson, EX Crusin panel shop Tingalpa. Hot rod guy only does restos/customs from his farm at Logan village now. 0433160897. Dave's own customs have won at the Summer nats in the past. Great guy, been a mate for years, don't be put off by his casual hill billy type attidude, he is the goods. The phone will answer as Logan city grass cutting, leave a mesage.
I heard Marti White was not travelling to well a while back!

Take some Jim Beam cans with you, I think he is doing a really rough Aston Martin DBS at the moment.
