hi all.
could someone out there please specify which part of the sector shaft on steering box you get correct measurement from  I've been told a few different things.

The end that goes to the pitman arm (bottom of box)...not the steering column.
There are 2 sizes. 65-early 67 (may?) should be 1 inch.
May 67 onwards was 1 1/8 inch.
