Work/Home Safety
« on: September 15, 2018, 03:10:19 pm »
After I suffered an injury at work this week I just want to really ram home the importance of wearing ppe, and just doing things safely.

Not just at work but home as well etc.

As you can see below if I wasn't wearing a $3.50 pair of safety glasses surgeon said I would have 100% lost my eye.

It may seem like a pain in the ass at times or it won't happen to you but as you can see it really saved my ass.

40 odd stitches and a heap of pain is a small price to pay over loosing an eye.

Tell me about it..

A 6m piece of aluminium extrusion was left standing against a wall and it fell down and hit me in the face..

Didn't tickle that's for sure.

Looks like you should stop trying to be a home remodeler and stick to engine rebuilding.  :thumb:

Hopefully it doesn't affect my modelling career too much..
