I've got one for a non-ac auto, the metal sections are all genuine, but the base is repro and cracked.

I assumed my base was a repro purely because I didn't have ford stamping/codes underneath.

Did the genuine bases have them?

1. I removed it from a one owner car that I first found in Death Valley Nevada in October 1982, and still own!.
2. Correct me if I'm wrong, this was well before repo consoles were made.
3. End plate part number is C4ZB 6506021-AW. Bases do not have Part #'s.

I know nothing, however, bought my first Mustang in 1979, have since personally owned 32 and imported another 143 over the last 35 years. And still have the paper work to prove it!.

Also have similar for a Convertible as well as complete OEM A/C, Coupe/Fastback Auto console in black, an A/C red Coupe/Fastback undamaged base and various A/C End Chromes.    Ph 0413402127
