Charging phone in the new Mustang
« on: June 29, 2018, 12:11:53 pm »
Has any late model Mustang owners know how to sort this problem?
Every time I plug my IPhone into the charger port in the car, automatically takes you to Siri, GPS on your phone, can’t use voice command unless it is Siri etc. I turned the data off on the phone, then I get the message I need internet connection to get Siri.
All I want to do is charge a bloody phone and use the ford system.
This happens in all 3 charging points. Ideas?
Thanks

Try disabling Apple car play.

I had the same problem , phone was connected to car play , soon as I disable it I can just charge the phone , but what I did was use the Bluetooth to connect to the car , so this way I can still can use the hands free but with out car system connects to phone settings
