Got my rego renewal for my mustang again . If I'm a good boy and pay early it's only $1097.65  :pepper:  if I pay after the due date at all , $1159.35  :thud:  gee I love QLD  :sick: but wait , I can pay for only 6 mths so it's easier to come up with the dollars  on time , $561.90 ,or late $ 623.60 .  ,so they hit you up for more dollars than half when paying 6 mths ,that's fair  :toetapping:  Own the car and paying off the rego  :grin:  I'm glad it's warm up here other wise I wouldn't be happy  :lmao:

Barnett rego cost an arm and a leg here .  A guy I know got busted for speeding in his mustang a few weeks back and got a $1,177 fine ,but he was lucky they didn't  take the car as they can . Now don't ask about the cost of water here , lucky my water bill is low now because I only wash once a week  :lmao:

In NSW they charge you by tare weight, not engine size.

Vic Wondonga / country area $660 for any car no matter weight or engine size, 2 seater ute $580 and 90 day historic $123

Yep club rego is the way to go....you only need 4 cars and you can drive one every day of the year, minus 4 days.

Are we saying $1100 for rego is off the planet for a mustang ?  Hey Chris I have owned 2 el caminos before ,a 66 and a 67 ,both small blocks .  One I bought from around your area years ago , bright yellow 66 RHD with a HZ dash fitted .

Hey Glenn,.....$1100 to register a Mustang in NSW? Unless you are a pensioner it will cost you well over $1400. if you have a country address it may save you $200. NSW is the rip off state. Can i be your neighbour?  :grin:

I must be doing something wrong, my total cost (rego, green slip, NRMA classic insurance) is just over $1500. :ouch:

I have seen here in sydneeey some old shitters on club rego running around during the week. Pretty crappie non collectible cars such as Datsun aand carollas. I have an old airhead bike on club rego that I ride no more tha 60 times a year. The registry gave me a form to fill out the day I use the bike (Log book form). I suppose the system is prone to abuse, you just need an erasable pen?

Just had both our cars due within 2 weeks of each other, just shy of $3000  :thud:


Add that to the current $1600 power bill and i'm thinking about standing on the corner this weekend for a few extra $$  :lmao:
