Mine seems to be very rich when cold - my garage wall/floor has 2 huge black marks on it now.

I put a new Holley on it a little while ago but am waiting to tune it properly until I get the new dizzy/coil/leads/plugs in.

Hoping it wont run so rich after that.

Cheers,
Frank.

No choke, just lots of throttle before ignition and keep pedaling it untill it can idle by itself.

I have found in the past that the idle improves out of site when the car has had a nice run.

HMM interesting,

It could be a few things then,

1. fuel supply.
2. fuel bowl levels set to low
3. sticking floats
4. power valve size to small

But if its ok once warm I wouldn't be to concerned

Cheers
