Mustang repo parts
« on: January 08, 2018, 05:20:51 pm »
Are there any other companies that make repo parts
beside Scott Drake. Everything I've purchased from
Scott Drake has been absolutely shit. As in quality and
fit.

Daniel Carpenter is another one.  Said to be better quailty than Scott Drake but I don't have first hand experience.
Cheers,

It would probably depend on the part also.

I have used Daniel Carpenter for all my rubber and seals and they are easily the best. Fantastic quality.
Don't know about any other stuff though

Thanks for the replies.
I've only purchased only a couple things and wasn't very happy.
I shouldn't have to curse and modify to make new parts fit.

Welcome to my world. I found the quality of most repro parts to be anything from pretty good to utterly appalling. You never quite know what you are gunna get. This led me into The Dark Path of removing every repro part I could find from my Boss 302 and going prod line NOS...
