I have seen some great HP numbers and 1/4 mile times and mph out of the new mustang so far .  Stock std from factory on  a factory tyre an impressive 12.1 at 119 mph ,still a bit slow off the line but that's std tyres . On a dyno jet dyno 436 HP at the wheels wow  , and at weighing in at 3855 lbs ,/ 1750 kg . A 2017 GT auto runs around 13.1 at 109 mph and 336 HP at the tyres . 100 HP increase

The performance gains are certainly impressive.
Direct injection, plasma sprayed bores and dual mass flywheel in the new model.
Dual mass flywheels and direct injection have had issues in other cars so hopefully all the tech is fully sorted in the new Mustang.
Also hope we get the bimodal exhaust and can fit a nice used one onto a 2016 model.
