looking to buy a Mach 1 Mustang
« on: March 27, 2008, 05:52:12 pm »
Hi Vic Mustang owners, I am looking for a nice Mach 1 Mustang 69-70 prefer 69, I heard on the grape vine there was a Mach 1 for sale at the Picnic at Hanging Rock last month it was metalic brown and the car was parked with other Mustang Owners Club of Vic cars . Does anyone know if it is still availble? and if so how much, thanks

Unfortunately I couldn't attend the Hanging rock show.  However I have noticed a couple 69-70 Mach I's for sale on both the Mustangs of Melbourne & Just Mustangs websites.

Good Luck with your search.

MJB.
That car was at the claytons concours last sunday and yes, still for sale. Price was $45K - it was a nice car. Not sure about the color, well not exactly to my taste, but the original color so you gotta love it I suppose. Sorry I didn't get any other details
Cheers,
Frank.

had a look at said Mach1 at the concour

looked generally tidy...but the roof (predominantly driver side) seemed to have a lot of waving/ripples in it?

also passenger side C pillar had a very rough section of paint about the size of your palm?

dont know what each means...just my observations

That car won a prize last year at the Dandenong show.  She's a well presented car and well loved by its current owner.  Nice machine.
