Oil Catch Can - Ecoboost
« on: August 21, 2017, 03:07:46 pm »
Hi Guys,

I couldn't find anything after running a search, so I'm hoping I'm not doubling up on a thread...

I came across videos explaining the importance of installing an oil catch can. Since the motors are now direct injected, the valves no longer get the extra lubrication from the fuel and can cause gunk to build up.

I was wondering if any one else in the forums have looked into this...

The catch can is very important to try and capture the blow by on the dirty side.  From all accounts, the UPR Dual Valve is the best as it has an additional line for WOT.

I went and got a JLT one as it was cheaper and made in the USA.  The UPR is quite exxy
