Accelerator Cable Manufacturers
« on: June 01, 2017, 12:02:04 pm »
Hi all, could I have some suggestions on companies that repair/manufacture accelerator cables. I need a longer cable for my 69 as I am doing an RHD conversion.
Thanks, Mal.

I have used Conwire  in Revesby for a couple things and they are good to go. Didn't overcharge either, very reasonable.

I was put onto Conwire back when I bought mine 2 pus years ago from Mustang Aust (Adrian)
Got one made for $80. Forgot I had it. No brackets or anything attached. Suppose you use existing fittings. Can take a photo for all to see. Compare to what people have now........

I have just had a look on the Summit site and there are 2 Lokar cables. This appears to be the one:

I ordered it from Summit Racing. $71US came to $109US with postage. Probably could have done something cheaper in Aus but this was convenient and looks like a goog quality cable.
