High Fuel Consumption After Sevice
« on: May 31, 2017, 10:44:53 pm »
My wife recently took her new 2017 mustang in for its 1500KM "piece of mind service".
Picked up the car and immediately noticed it wasn't driving the same -  doesn't seem to be accelerating as smoothly, running at about 20 l/100km up from before the service, she also says the exhaust smells more noxious......  (haven't had a chance to check yet)

She has had it back to dealer but they recon nothing has changed ... going back in tomorrow.

Any thoughts ?    (Can't help wondering if they accidently changed mapping.....)

Cheers

Does sound odd.

Although in terms of fuel consumption, mine has always been amazingly thirsty (likely due to the driver).
