Zenith class R code for auction

If you're in the market for what's probably the ultimate unrestored R code, check out this 70 Mach 1 coming up at Mecum this month ... https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0517-282512/1970-ford-mustang-mach-1-fastback/

How deep are your pockets Terry?

That is not 100% unrestored plus some parts are not even factory.

Then I guess the trophies are all for " not 100% unrestored class".
Just been out with Glenn to look at some cars and your name came up in "discussion". LOL

They give awards for incorrect cars all the time . Just look at most of the "concours" cars in oz . Trophies don't mean much.

For a purportedly high end/expensive car like that, they could have at least spent $200.00 to put the correct distributor vacuum diaphragm back on it.

When something this simple and this obvious is missing on a car that is being touted as an original multi award winning car, it raises serious questions about the awards and the award process/criteria and the rest of the car.

ah, ok, xlnt . good catch . i only saw the engine photo so i didn't know it was an auto.

it is a nice car . will have to follow it and see if it sells.

i sold an original black 69 428 car to a guy in oz several years ago and it had all the original paint daubs and grease pencil marks etc but it had a lot of patina . the car above it in the shipping container fell down on the back of it and damaged it so the guy had to repaint it.
