I found it unusual that an after market LHD power steering mount which mounts the hydraulic ram to the Chassis point had been fitted to my '69 Mach 1. I had discovered that the welding had come adrift and I chased around and found a supplier who could supply the original for $160.00. The problem is that when extractors are fitted, the steering ram has to clear the extractors when operated and another bracket had to be manufactured to suit. These brackets are cheap to import but found it peace of mind to make up my own. Apparently all the early models were like this. Has anyone had similar problems like this ?>
