Is anyone from here going to the Yatala Drive in show on 15 March.  If so wondering if we should all meet up and drive over as a heard of ponies or in Ryan's case we could pick him and his push bike up somewhere and take him in the boot just like the old days:+.

Looks like there will be a fair few cars meeting at the Yatala Pie Shop Saturday 15th March.
Some will be there around 1pm getting pies for lunch, and will leave from there around 1.45pm for the 2pm start at the Drive - In.

Derwin ring Gordon I know he was keen on going. Not sure but  Darryl and Coleen will more than likely be in it as well. Not sure about Big Red yet will decide on the day most likely.
Ryan in the boot? probably the best place for him!:+:+
Cheers JD.

Saturday at the Pie shop sounds good. I've heard from a friend in the Corvette club that there is going to be a big roll up.

Good day, great entertainment, good company, good music.  The whole drive in was full of hot rods and classics, they were turning cars away.  Pity about the movies, they were crap.  Good fun next one is in October:a

Hi shelby_mustro. I am a little confused. Why do you refer to some Mustangs as 'Mexican Rides'?

Like I said it just made me feel good I wasn't.  It was real funny walking around checking all the cars and seeing about 1/3 of them puking water out of their radiator and mine not doing it.  The gods must of feen smiling on me

Hey guys,The good thing is my car didn't boil on the way home.
The bad thing is that we got home at 11.30 on the back of a tow truck. The battery gave out about half way between the 2 toll plazas on the Logan Motorway,in a pitch black section of the road.A following car nearly ran into the back of us.In the end we waited for a tow truck at Stapleton Rd and the first truck turned up with its rear bar falling off and no tail lights so we had to wait for a secnd truck.Bit of an adventure.
All in all though we had a good day.So the second movie wasn't much better than the first?

Oh the joys of owning a Mustang.Sounds like it might have been the battery itself that was giving you all the grief.
