I've owned the car almost 10yrs now. Purchased from the owner (Ron) of SCAT (cranks/rods). He had it on jack stands doing a big disc brake conversion on the front. 289 was out and in pieces.  Was going to be his daughters replacement after her 66 notchback had a fire.  She wanted her old car, so I bought this. Had the engine put back in and the brakes finished.  Car was loaded with all its other parts in boxes. Ron delivered the car to the shipping yard a week after we left. It's  a matching numbers A code. I've rebuilt the 289 and C4. Also the steering,  suspension, new roof lining,  steering wheel.  15x5.5 Galaxie rims with blue line tyres. I had the Goodyear and Blue Streak stencils made and painted it on the tyres. Plenty more done and plenty more to do. Been driving it for 2 yrs now.

Love it. Your car was one of my favourites I saw at the New Year's Day car show in Mornington this year.

I love the vintage race car look. Is there a place to find pics of old Mustang race cars?

You can find lots of reference material  (old Mustang race cars) on the Internet or Facebook pages.
I bought the teardrop scoop and it was fitted by Alfa Fibreglass.
