Are you happy with your dealer /service department?
« on: November 21, 2016, 09:46:30 am »
I must say that on very rare occasions I get cheesed off. These guys here at Tuggerah just managed to do that.
First they lost the wheel lock for the wheel nuts on my GT. Took almost an hour to remove and install a new set.
Then MyKey wasn't activated. Waited another 45 min. The service manager just came out and explained that they never done this before...
Hallo...what about a pre-delivery inspection??
Not happy at all; no apologies, nothing.

The service at Thompson Ford Parramatta, so far at least has been faultless.

They send a guy to pick my car up, take it to the dealership, service it, and drop it back in the afternoon.

They even do that for minor warranty issues - the other week they picked it up just to replace the 'pony puddle' lamp in the drivers door.

Another +1 for Thomson, they're great. As are Brad Garlick in Nth Ryde.

NO WAY can they do that, well not my S550. Ford advertise a free loan car? It's less financial expense for them to pay an apprentice/labourer than to give you a loan car.....& the drivers side puddle lamp is a VERY common problem. My 1 year service due in 4 weeks, puddle lamp, loan car & NRMA Road side assist for another year + GPS map update will all be included FREE....

They don't send the apprentice to pick up my car/s - they also come and pick up my wife car for warranty and service matters as well. It may well save them a loan car, but it saves me a couple of hours taking the cars to them and then going to pick them up again.
