to be different; ..paint jobs
« on: September 26, 2016, 11:56:00 am »
Hi there
totally love my new yellow GT. However; it needs some sort of black stripes to break up all that beautiful yellow.
I don't really like those standard stripes across the top. Did some Google image research, but nothing really that's different.
Any ideas are most appreciated.

I have seen an Orange one in Hobart and the black stripes faded on the edges especially on the bonnet and it looks great that is the first time I have seen this type of stripe
If you make an enquiry with Tilford Motors in Hobart they should be able to help

The Corvette forum, yes.

I seriously contemplated getting a C2 before I purchased my Mustang.

I have a ruby red Gt on the way
I'm going with lemans stripes in gloss black carbon fibre vinyl with a gloss silver carbon fibre vinyl pin stripe
Also thinking about some C/F vinyl on the chin splitter and side moldings to give it a different look but also a bit of protection from scuffing. Easy to replace too.
I like the C/F kits that give the same look but not prepared to pay the 2.5K

And then there are the matt stripes the same colour as the car which I quite like
