Help, I need a Windsor C4 Auto Bell Housing, 6 bolt

Hi all, does anybody have a good bell housing for sale.  The old girl has a couple of cracks in it and it would be nice to replace it while the box is out. It would need to be shipped to Port Macquarie. Thanks, Darryl

Darryl, you'd better specify whether you're after a 5 or 6 bolt bell housing as they're not interchangeable. Early (1964) 260 & 289 blocks were 5 bolt.

I have a 6 bolt one here in Melbourne but it has a (good) trans attached to it. If you can't find just the bell and could live with a spare trans hanging around let me know.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your help and advice. I located one last night. If it turns out to be no good I will start again.
 
Yes Al, Windsor gear is a bit hard to locate. There seems to be a lot of Cleveland gear about though.  It was nice to catch up with you at Qld last year.

Also Geoff, a spare transmission might come in handy. I will think about it.

 This is the first time I have used the forum ( technology and I get along like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in their later years) it is a great resource, I will try to use it more to keep up to date etc.
