Robertson Pie Run
« on: August 28, 2016, 05:45:52 pm »
Just got home from what was a great day out. Meeting up with other members at Uncle Leo's at the crossroads and after having coffee and quite a bit of chat, we headed off to Robertson via M5 and Hume H/way, turning off and going through Mittagong then on to our destination at Robertson pie shop. Crowded as usual but fortunately there was a vacant paddock next door so that's where we parked. All together there was 54 cars, some from ACT, some from the South Coast and the majority from the Sydney chapter. The place was very busy as it always is on a Sunday, motor bikes filling most of the car park (hence the paddock for us) The staff are super efficient and quickly got through a barrage of customers, bikers,Mustangers and any other general public. Pies were great, coffee was good, company was tremendous. Marion and I headed for home after visiting the cheese factory, bought several items, no cheese though. Looking forward to the next outing with a great group of people :event:.

It was a fantastic day, catching up with a lot of Members from near and afar.
We took our `fur child` along for the ride and he loved every minute of it ,thanks to Showbags for spoiling him with about a third of an uneaten apple pie and cream.
So glad he wasn't crook in the car on the way home....
