Mustang Track DayTest
« on: August 16, 2016, 02:16:37 pm »
Hi. Took my new Mustang for a run at Mallala race track on a test day.
Car was great, I gave it a good work out.
I have raced around that track in at 1973 2door Falcon set up for racing with 600hp.
The Mustang was very close to its times, and was the quickest car in our group, 15 cars.
Lap time 122.9. Could do better with more time and fuel.

The only thing I could fault with it was when the tank got below haft it got a fuel surge on the long sweeping left hand corners.

V8 manual inch lowered with full Xforce exhaust, great fun.
I drove it 700km to the track then around Adelaide on the weekend then 700km back home.

Hagen.
