GT wheels for an Ecoboost Model
« on: August 03, 2016, 07:59:21 pm »
Good evening. Just would like to ask if a stock GT wheels would perfectly fit an Ecoboost model both front and back?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I believe the GT has 9.5" wide tyre on the rear and the Ecoboost has 9" wide on the rear

But would the GT stock wheels fit the Ecoboost without any problem? Thank you

As far as I know they are the same . EB  are 19x9 with 255/40x19 tyre front and rear  and same for the v8 GT . So no problems

The rears on the GT are 275/40 R19 apparently but I would think they would still fit the EB

Yes you are  right 275/40 x19 rear with a 9.5 rim .  I only said  the other ,quoted from my 2016 ford Australia mustang sales book that stated 255/40x19 for both and must be wrong . The net says 275/40x9.5  which I think is correct . Either way they will fit on a EB . I'm sure the ones I have seen were 275/40 x19 on the rears . And it proves don't believe everything you read

one more question.. ive changed my ecoboost wheels to the standard gt wheels.. and now after a few kms it would always have a warning of " tyre pressure monitor malfunction".. I already did a reset three times and it still does after a few kilometres....  any similar experience?
