lumber support RHF seat
« on: June 16, 2016, 05:35:21 pm »
I have my new Mustang  :smile01: and I love it.
But the drivers seat with the lumber support fills like it does not go back far enough.
the passenger seat is great but it dose not have the lumber support.
I wind it out with the switch then back again and just feels like it should go back more.
Maybe its just me?
I have tried another Mustang  and felt much the same.
Any thoughts??

A seat with the lumbar support mechanism is a bit thicker due to the parts built into the seat. This may restrict the amount of movement compared to the seat without the bulky mechanism.  Go onto Google & type in "2015 Ford Mustang lumbar support mechanism images" & you will see some pics of how it all works. Just as a matter of interest, how much legroom has the back seat got?

Yep not much room in the back seat.
That's ok because I don't sit in the back.
We are not a tall family so its not a big problem.
Will be interesting on a long trip.

It's amazing that my 52 year old coupe can comfortably seat 2 adults in the back & is a much smaller car than the new model. Big step backwards perhaps?
